It takes approximately seven days for routine blood tests and three days for urine tests results to be sent to the practice. Specialised tests can take longer. The Doctor will check all results and leave instructions with the receptionist regarding information patients. The receptionist will be able to make a telephone or surgery appointment for patients to discuss their results with the Doctor.
